Back To School Shopping Guide

Getting ready for back to school season can be overwhelming. In the rush to get everything you need you may end up spending more money than you need to. Buying only what you need will save you and money here are  few easy steps you can take.

1.Find out What you Have

You know your child may have  a lot of clothes from the last few fall winter and spring seasons. Go through these items and pick out the ones at won't be worn  such as items with holes, spots, stains, rips and fading and other imperfections. Make sure your kids can fit these items by trying them on.

Too Small items can be saved if you have a younger child or donated.

You'll now know what your kids need fro this school season. Remember if there is any activities that your kid is going to be in this season.

4.Know The School Dress Code.

Often times parents may not be aware the school's dress code Policies.  Kids may want to wear items that are not allowed by school dress code so knowing these policies can save money and headaches.

5. Shop for Deals

Just because summer is over doesn't mean you should stop looking for "summer" wears. You may find deep discounted items that would be perfect for this upcoming fall.

  • Short sleeved tees are great layering pieces under sweaters, sweatshirts, cardigans and blazers. You can never have too many short sleeve shirts. Great for transition.
  • Underwear, socks, tees, jeans great for wearing all around the year. Sure, they may have been from the summer season but you'll also get those summer discounts/
  • Accessories that were meant to accompany a store's summer lines can be worn with fall items as well.
  • Some Items still are great for fall such as those Spring  items were great for cool days, the same applies
  • For girls, skirts and dresses make excellent transitional pieces., cheerleading to Band having spare pieces can go  long way.
6. Make Sure Kid Likes The Clothes

This may be the most important tip, Make sure the clothing items you get ,fits your kid sense style. There nothing worst spending money on a clothing item and your child never wears it. It can be helpful and fun to get imput from your kid , after all they'll be wearing it.
